I'm still randomly going through file after file of photos. Today, I thought I would share some of the one's I took of Mika since she came to us three years ago.

She was so tiny when we got her and her hair looked like most Shih Tzu pups do.
Since day one she has been such a little cuddler and loves to have fluffy blankets to lay on.

We bought her this round bed to sleep in, but that didn't last long as she kept trying to tear it up to get to the stuffing inside. You can see how long her hair had grown and it was getting harder and harder to keep it from tangling. She was not a fan of the hair brushing daily so it was time to find a groomer for her.

This was after her first haircut and most of the dark hair is gone. She apparently did not like the scented shampoo the groomer used, so she rolled around in the snow trying to wash off her face. She looks so goofy in this photo with the little snowballs on her hair.

This is what the family room floor looked like every evening after playtime. Then the chew bones all start to get scattered all over the floor too. I missed the boat and didn't train her to pick up after herself, lol.

Of course, the main floor has another whole slew of toys to play with. She has to pull every one of them out of her toybox making sure not to leave anyone out of playtime.

Summertime is the best for all of us; she loves to sit on the porch watching all the creatures and birds visiting the yard.

If one of us is gardening, she is right by our side. On this day she was with hubby pulling dandelions out of the grass.

Mika loves to lie in the sun, and I caught her on the lounge chair soaking up some rays. Usually, she lies on the lawn but for some reason decided my lounge was more appropriate for sunning. Perhaps she was waiting for me to join her.

Her favorite spot is my lap no matter where we are. Here we are sitting on the back porch and she's taking a little doggie nap in between my legs.

Naturally, every evening she settles into her bed with her best buddy, "Curious George". He is the only stuffed toy that she has never tried to destroy. We have two extras put away just to make sure she always has her friend.

Mika sitting close to the fireplace the first night we had a fire for the season this year. She loves to help hubby build one as she gets to chew on one of the tiny sticks he uses for kindling.
Thanks for visiting this random photo post of our little girl. She brings us so much joy every single day.

What beautiful photos!
