I have a very playful mini Australian shepherd. She lives to play with anyone who will kick or throw a ball. My house is strewn with toys so that, whenever I pass by, I can take a few moments to play. I love her. I wish she would stick so near me though. When outside, if she sees an animal, she is gone gone gone.
Oh wow, I love Australian Shepherds and know they do love to run and chase. Mika would run after every squirrel or dog if I did not have the yard fenced with netting and wire. I do have an invisible fence, but I never wanted to shock her with it, sigh. She would bust through it just to catch a squirrel. I know she would, lol.
I had an invisible fence once, and training the dogs felt cruel. they are also only as good as the batteries in the collars. If my current dog ever got shocked in my yard, she would never go out there again, she remembers every hurt, and makes certain it never happens again.
