Today in the morning I went out to my solar, and I was surprised to see that one of my turmeric plants had flowered, and what a beautiful flower it gave me! So I wanted to share it with all of you:
Every time Mr. Morrocoy knows that I am in the back garden, he comes out of his hiding place to say hello and see what I bring him for food. Here he is, staring at me. I also saw another of his children, who in my opinion is very beautiful, he looks like a fairy tale turtle.

En mi vida había visto la planta de cúrcuma y mucho menos su flor muchas gracias por compartir su fotografía con nosotros @sirenahippie.
No se al resto de los lectores pero yo lo que mas disfruto son las apariciones y fotos de Sr Morrocoy y su familia, es un animalito muy inteligente además de fotogénico.
Yo he sembrado cúrcuma desde hace dos años para acá, pero nunca las había dejado crecer lo suficiente para que florecieran. Esta me sorprendió pues nunca había visto una flor, son muy bellas. Las hojas y el tubérculo supongo que lo utilizan en las sopas de fideos con pollos que nos venden deshidratadas, en sobre, ya que el sabor es muy similar. Y bueno, el Sr. Morrocoy y su tribu son un espectáculo. En próximas entregas sacaré fotos de su papá y de su mamá y de la esposa, así como de sus hijos adolescentes. Gracias por pasar y comentar @actioncats, un abrazote.
