The tower looming in the distance is actually a television tower located on the lower part of mountain Avala near the capital. There’s no way it doesn’t catch your eye as you drive down the highway.
The mountain is under protection as a natural asset, it exudes an abundance of medicinal plants and in the summer days, it is a real stronghold to get away from the city noise.
There is public transport that will take you to the foothills, but if you want to go to the very top, you will need a car.
Before the departure, we were not sure how passable the roads were, but no risking, no winning - so we risked a bit.
This lookout is halfway to the tower, and it was our first stop, at sunset.
A monument to Soviet war veterans has been erected here, fell in love with this shadow.
And during the winter there is always more snow here than anywhere else.
The mountain is overgrown with mostly wild trees, and part of it is covered with pine, so during the warmer days, it's a real herbal fragrance explosion.
Twilight was approaching and the sun's warm rays mingled with the whiteness of the snow.

Halfway through, we agreed not to go to the very top due to the drop in temperature in the evening, the asphalt is wet and there was a high possibility of ice forming.
On the way down, I almost lost my ovaries after screaming "what a beautiful sight!", so I got a sudden pressure on the brake and the belt squeezed my stomach, but I got it!
So yeah, friendly advice, do not scream while driving cause someone could make your wish come true, and also it could be slightly painful, but worthy painful.
