Two words about the design of the Triplet. She is terribly simple. Two water pipes that are in one another provide focusing. At the end of one pipe, the Triplet-5 lens is mounted. At the end of the other, an M39 / NEX adapter is installed. And it's all. The lens is very light, only 200 grams.

A focal length of 100 gives a narrow viewing angle. But sometimes it can be beneficial. This does not apply to landscapes.

In this case, the lens gives a smooth blur. I have yet to explore the features of his boke. It looks like he can spin it like Mr. Helios. But this must also be checked separately.

For a long time I was looking for different insects for shooting. The weather was cool. Apart from this fly, I didn’t get anything. But she sat calmly.
The first frame is presented without processing. I cut the second, and the third a little processed to give more sharpness.
Я долго искал разных насекомых для съёмки. Погода была прохладной. Кроме этой мухи мне ничего не попалось. Зато она сидела спокойно.
Первый кадр представлен без обработки. Второй я обрезал, а третий немного обработал для придания большей резкости.
Findings. I got a great forest lens. It has a soft pattern, perfectly blurs the background and wonderfully reproduces colors. None of the photos I did color correction. Some lightened a little, but this could be done when shooting exposure correction. There is no aperture in this lens yet. And I'm not sure of its necessity.
The most expensive part here is the M39 / NEX adapter.

Выводы. Я получил отличный объектив для лесной съёмки. Он имеет мягкий рисунок, отлично размывает фон и чудесно передаёт цвета. Ни на одном из фото я не делал коррекцию цвета. Некоторые немного осветлил, но это можно было сделать при съёмке коррекцией выдержки. Диафрагмы в этом объективе пока нет. И я не уверен в её необходимости.
Самая дорогая деталь здесь, это переходник M39/NEX.

Impressive you caught a bee in flight with that lens.
Such a task did not stand before me. I tried to catch the focus of this bumblebee on a flower. But he was in a hurry, he ran a lot, and in the end decided to fly away from me. That was the last shot in his back :-)
