Is 12.8 MP Enough?

in PHOTOGRAPHY [DAC]5 years ago

Saturday i did a shoot for my friends and i just started editing. First photos i edited are from Canon 5d classic. And i am still a bit surprised what 15 years old digital camera can do. Yes it lacks all the cool features, that new cameras have, that make your life a bit easier, but in the photo quality, you will have no problems with it.

This was my first maternity photoshoot ever, and you will see that when i finish editing photos from the other camera. I evidently lack posing skills for this, but i lack posing skills for everything :)

And we started almost a hour late, and i forget half of the things i know when i am in a hurry.

Nice shots mate; glad to see the classic 5D getting a whirl.

thanks.
is whirl Aussie word? i had to google it to make sure that it means a spin :D

No its not Australian slang; just British English but Australians use it a lot. It is in the Cambridge english dictionary. https://dictionary.cambridge.org/dictionary/english/give-sth-a-whirl

now that you said it, it does sounds that i heard it in british. think it is not that common in US, and generally i am most exposed to US english. i knew the word, i heard it, but i needed to check it out to be sure :D

Glass is generally all that matters. :)

agree with this.

good glass really helps :D

Great shots man. If you did this when you're in a hurry, imagine what you'd create if you had more time 😁

thanks. i would probably think more about posing, as it is an effort for me, i don't have it in the head. i don't do posed portraits a lot.
