When nature takes over

A pile of rubble that was left alone on the side of our orchard slowly disappears. We planted some trees there - pines, birches, and a willow tree long time ago. They grew huge, giving a nice shadow and a place for birds to stay. But other trees came as seeds with the wind. The elderberry grew on its own, some other bushes too. They can grow there as this place is left alone. Even some part of the grapevines started to climb on the trees, and since nobody can reach them (and the vines are not cut), the birds have free food for the autumn :)

Below the trees, all the sones and some old wires are slowly covered by moss and lichens. The rust eats away what it can until the metal is so thin and brittle it just falls apart. It takes time.. but bit by bit it will all be gone.

The periwinkles love to grow there, popping from between the stones and bricks.

It seems like a messy place with nothing interesting. And maybe to some it is. But it is also quite magical with all the wild mess, and I love to go there just to climb on top of the pile and observe.
There is always plenty to see.

Good morning my brother ♥️

You shared some pictures very well, it is very easy to understand. And rust is a normal thing that happens to metal but sometimes it is very detrimental.

Amazing shots, I loved the combination of nature and debris, and also the little mosses!

Good morning dear friend @ewkaw
It is for these things that I love and admire nature, they always find a way to gain lost space, all it takes is a little soil and humidity to grow in the most inhospitable place.
Beautiful shots.
Have a great weekend

Beautiful contrast ewkaw, and also its simplicity is attractive. 😍

Nature is the OG recycler!
