I have fond memories of the Bleeding Heart Trees. My mother always had a pair in her yard and she would take care of those plants better than she took care of us! Sadly they didn't survive a big move across Canada and she is now struggling to find any in a greenhouse near her. Disappointing! Her new place won't feel like home until those bushes are back!
Oh my.. that is some special tree. Do you have some photos of it? The ones here are just small bushes. I really hope she finds it.

They weren't much taller than knee-height. Idk why I've always called them trees lol
