The golden image was made by king Nebuchadnezzar whose height was sixty cubits and width six cubits. The golden image is a similitude of many things in our contemporary world. The golden image represents: fame, wealth, power, influence, position, Authority, fashion.
The above concepts control the world and in the real sense of it, religion gave birth to them. The world is full of the deceived and deceivers and many gullibly following their pernicious ways thereby leading them to captivity.The book of Rom. 16:17-18 Paul identified the victims. They are responsible for offences, crises and divisions in the church of God, by that very fact; they made themselves to be golden image. They circulate heretical teachings, they deceive with flattery, they blandish with flattery speech. They are not serving God rather they are serving their stomachs 2Pet. 2:1-3
Brethren, it is high time, we pulled down and completely dismantled their fortified structure, otherwise, they will capture as many as possible.
Many ministers turned themselves to become monsters in the church of God today.
Many church officers are embodiment of golden image, if you don’t worship them, you are gone.
We need to chase them out.
They are anointed Nebuchadnezzar, arrogating power, demonstrating pride, who dares them will suffer for it. They are white sepulchre with debris as fundamental content for they adorned themselves with costly and golden apparel; they violently force people to bow for them because they benefit from oppression.
- Oh Lord, I refuse to bow to golden images and their similitudes.
- Oh Lord I refuse to yield to the worship of golden images and their similitudes.
- Oh Lord, let your love continue to be established in my heart.
** Hardly you see a church of God without the pertinent features of the golden image. They are very rich, influential, occupying relevant position of authority, and they are prime movers, yet they are golden images – if you refuse to worship them, you are hated.**
