Blessed morning everyone! How are you all? I hope you are all doing well and fine together with your friends loved ones and family❤️.
This song is about offering our heart, mind, and soul to God..our life..all the glory be to him
I feel peace and serenity, content and fulfilled every time I help in my little way, I feel blessed. Giving without the greedy thinking that if I give somebody something he will give me more. But God's way of giving should be followed through Christ Jesus our Lord, He gave us Jesus to save our lives, and save us from our sins. He pay for our sins as he died on the cross.
John 3:16 (KJV) " For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life."
SEE HOW LORD JESUS SAID ABOUT A GENEROUS GIVER
Mark 12:41 (KJV)
"And Jesus sat over against the treasury, and beheld how the people cast money into the treasury: and many that were rich cast in much."
In this verse, Lord Jesus observes every person on how they give and donate their possession. He saw that rich people cast in much, of course, they have more they have excess wealth. Is it the right way to give? To give things and wealth because it's only our excess?
Let us continue to this next verse.
Mark 12:42 (KJV)
"And there came a certain poor widow, and she threw in two mites, which make a farthing."
And in this verse, this widow was a sincere and cheerful giver because She gives her all to the treasury, mostly, people give only their abundance and their excess but the widow also needs help but it is she who helped more.
And here what was our Lord Jesus said:
Mark 12:43-44 (KJV)
"And he called unto him his disciples, and saith unto them, Verily I say unto you, That this poor widow hath cast more in, than all they which have cast into the treasury.44. For all they did cast in of their abundance; but she of her want to be did cast in all that she had, even all her living."
We can read here very clearly what our lord Jesus said about the generous and sincere way of giving, the widow cast more in than the rich people because the widow gave all her living, unlike the rich who only gave their excess possessions and wealth. She gave with a cheerful and generous heart full of love and faith.
Everything we have in this world is all temporary, our everlasting and abundant life is our afterlife here on earth, with the Almighty God, So whatever wealth and possessions we have in our hands can't be able to bring after leaving this world,
It feels so good to be a cheerful giver because God is well-pleased, and like what I always say, when I write a post here in Hive, I am trying to give my best according to my capabilities and capacity without thinking if I am going to be upvoted and appreciated. In my heart and my mind I write to glorify God, my words and actions are for him alone! to inspire and help others in any possible way, without asking in return. Because God is our provider, He has his angels and instruments that He is using to bless and protect us not because we are great or skillful but because of his merciful and loving heart. And most of all he sent Lord Jesus to pay for our debts and it is our sins..by sacrificing His life. Like what is being mentioned in this verse

To help and to give not because of abundance and excess wealth or possession but because the intention is to sincerely help others if seeing them in so much need or without any reason without expecting any return, there is Lord God who sees and well pleases if He is seeing a generous and cheerful giver. Exactly. You summed up the whole message by saying that "giving should be done because of an intent to sincerely help others".
I feel like this is what it ought to be. Even when we feel like we don't have enough, there will always be someone around who can benefit from whatever we have to offer.
