Calvary greetings to you dearly beloved, I am glad to be here again to share my view on the purpose of our existence as discussed by brother Eli if blessed memory. We are called for a reason. We are in existence for a purpose. Sometimes, we do otherwise because we don't know our purpose. Why should we hurt others? Why should we be cruel to others, when our purpose as children of God is to do good.
The book of Galatians 6:10 says that we should do good to all men, especially to them of the household of faith. Jesus our teacher and saviour did good, and that was all He did on earth _good. Act 10:38, "How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with Holy Ghost and Power, who went about doing good, healing those that were oppressed by the devil." That was it. That was purpose. Jesus while on earth discovered His purpose. He preached the gospel, He healed the sick, He fed the people. All was good. So, it is high time we also discovered that our purpose is, and start working accordingly.
Purpose becomes easy to fulfill when it is known. We can never work in that capacity of fulfilling the purpose we don't know. Little wonder the common adage , that when the purpose is unknown, abuse is inevitable. Dear brethren, it is our purpose to do good. Let's look around and do whatever thing that is lovely, whatever thing that is pure and whatever thing that is of good report, Philippians 4:8. Let's continue to do good, lift up people, care for others and be fulfilled. The Lord will help us in Jesus name.
