The purpose God had in mind when creating man was so that we would bring glory to Him. Everyone we see today are all the works of the hands of God. Our reason for being created begins and ends with Him. In order for us to fulfill our God given purpose we must present ourselves as worthy vessels before God.
2 Timothy made us to understand that the purpose for we are all vessels in one way or the other. There are some who are vessels of honor and some which are vessels of dishonor. Each and everyone of us are either living our lives in a way that bring honor unto God or dishonor unto Him. There are no two ways about it.
2 Timothy 2:20 - But in a great house there are not only vessels of gold and of silver, but also of wood and of earth; and some to honour, and some to dishonour.
[21] If a man therefore purges himself from these, he shall be a vessel unto honour, sanctified, and meet for the master's use, and prepared unto every good work.
There's so much we can do if we make ourselves available unto God as honourable vessels; this is by living our lives whereby doing good works is our goal.
