I learnt that the sin against the holy Spirit will not be forgiven,when we speak against the the holy Spirit it is blasphemy aspecially when we know that what we are doing is wrong and still go ahead to do it,the bible said in the book of mattew 12:32:And whosoever speaketh a word against the son of man,it shall be forgiven him:But whosoever speak against the holy ghost,it shall not be forgiven him, neither in this world.let us therefore brethern be mindful of what we say or do so that we will not offend the holy spirit.
I also learnt that idolatry is an abomination before God.ln the book of Romans 1:25 it says who changed the truth of God into lie,and worshipped and served the creature more than the creator,who is blessed for ever amen.
God forbids the worship of idol, some pray to the image of Mary, instead of worshipping the creator,they prefer to worship the creature which is an abomination to God. Idolatry has a big effect,it can corrupt our spirit.
Christains are prohibited to eat the food offered to idol, because idols are false god and a false god should not be worship,only God almighty should we worship and knee down for. Thanks.
