RE: How can I accept Jesus Christ in my life?

in MCGI Cares Hive3 years ago

The Bible says that we are all sinners (Rom. 3:23). This means that we have all offended God. We have all broken His law. Therefore, we are guilty of having sinned. Because of this, we are separated from God (Isaiah 59:2), are dead in our sins (Rom. 6:23; Eph. 2:3), cannot please God (Rom. 3:10-11), and will suffer damnation (2 Thess. 1:9). The only way to escape this judgment is by receiving Christ–by trusting in what Jesus did on the cross (John 14:6; Acts 4:12; 1 Pet. 2:24).

Since we are sinners, we are incapable of removing the guilt of our sinfulness through our own efforts. Gal. 2:21 says, “…if righteousness comes through the Law, then Christ died needlessly.” The Law is the do’s and don’t’s of moral behavior. In other words, we can’t become righteous by what we do. Why? Because we are dead in our sins (Eph. 2:3).

This means that since we cannot remove our own sins, God must do it.

Jesus, who is God in flesh (John 1:1, 14; 8:58; Col. 2:9), bore our sins in His body on the cross (1 Pet. 2:24). He died in our place. He paid the penalty of breaking the Law of God that should have fallen upon us. He satisfied the law of God the Father by dying on the cross.

It is only through Jesus that we can escape the penalty that God will execute upon all who have broken his holy and perfect law. Do you want to be saved from the righteous judgment of God? If so, if you want to become a Christian and follow God, then you must realize that you have sinned against God and are under his judgment. You must look to Jesus who died on the cross and trust what he did in order for you to be forgiven of your sentence and be saved from the judgment of God. This is accomplished by faith alone in what Jesus has done. You cannot add any human works to what Jesus has done.

What you are doing and teaching is adding works to your salvation.

Did you listen to fbe video at to hear what i addressed? How you become righteous 8s diffrent from how you accept Jesus.

You made good points about obtaining the righteousness of God. Of course no one gets righteous by their own works, but remember God works in us to do his good wills. Also we are taught of God, that makes our works automatically accepted by God. we don't observe the natural or moral ethics or morals of men. We are justified freely by faith in christ Jesus. But we also need to understand that it is a devilish teaching when we tell people to live anyhow after they have been saved. Some pastors in the name of saving frace teach people to live carelessly.

I wish i could send you a reply via vidoe or perhaps audio

There is a lot to be said.

My point is works don't justify anyone, it is out faith in the death, burial and resurrection of our lord Jesus that justifies us.

Jesus is God who came as a man and also paid the penalty of the sins of Adam with his own life.

I'll reply via a vidoe in some minutes, or if you are in discord send me a DM. there is a lot to be said.

You made good points but you didnt hear my undertone in the video. I didn't address hot to become righteous, i addressed the proceess you need to undergo to receive Jesus. You need to understand who jesus is first by understanding his word before you can believe him. You can't believe in the person you have not heard from.

You wrote 'How can I accept Jesus Christ in my life?'
Then you said,
"To accept Jesus, you need to study the doctrines of christ Jesus."

To "accept Jesus" isn't even biblical.
But a natural man does not accept the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him; and he cannot understand them, because they are spiritually appraised.
— 1 Corinthians 2:14

How one becomes saved is through faith. And Faith Alone.
How you worded it was "to become saved you must first study the Doctrines."

I'm not saying you shouldn't study doctrines, but if you're talking about salvation, you only need to believe in Jesus Christ.

can anyone believe in Jesus without learning about him first ? when the apostles preached in the book of acts to any unbeliever, they taught them first, then the unbeliever would accept to be baptized and confess the lord Jesus. Faith comes by hearing! It is the hearing of God's word that opens the heart of the unbeliever.

On the day of pentecost, the unbelievers didn't just believe in Jesus, peter told them the teachings of christ and the plan of God for salvation, that is the same thing as the doctrines of christ.

The first stage to salvation is for an unbeliever to give God their attention by studying God's word. Once that is done, it becomes easy for the holy spirit to convict them.

Again, no one gets saved by works, but for God to save anyone, that person must give his heart first. And that is, you must be willing let go off your own system for God to rule you.
