Good day everyone. Am Sis Atuma Hope and am doing this post to share my benefits from the Mass indoctrination Day 13.
There is this mindset I grew up with , that all sins are forgivable, even among Christians, there is a belief of making confession and forgiveness take place ,but this is only applicable for sins that are not unto death. In the study I learned that there are sins that we commit intentionally that God will not forgive us and this gave rise to the two broad types of sins; Sin that is unto death and sins not unto death. During baptism, our sins are washed away. Those who are washed are those that have been baptized and they are become a new creature. We are encouraged to pray for brethren that there sins be forgiven if a person should sin, a sin that is not unto death, for those sins are forgivable with the intention not to go back ever again whole heartedly. (Romans 6 :4 - 6). We are not to pray for a brethren that do evil and keeps commiting sins that are unto death for such sins unto death can not be forgiven and God even encourage us to reject such brethren for they can corrupt those good brethren that are patiently following the doctrines of Christ. According to the book of Romans 1:32, tolerating of those who do wicked things among the body of Christ could lead to misleading and corrupting the other good followers of the doctrines of Christ, therefore such brethren are to be put away or expelled from the church. Also in the book of 1Corin.5 : 13, the wicked should be put away from the Church. The practice or act of rebaptism by some isn't scriptural, re- baptism is not a doctrine of God.
We also learnt in the book of Mark3:29 if one intentionally speaks against the Holy Spirit, which is called blasphemy against the Holy Spirit is a sin that can not be forgiven. There are some sins that the Holy Spirit warned us against as recorded in the book of Act15:19- 20 and Act15:28-29; they include;
*eating meat offered to idols
*eating blood of any animal
*any animal that was strangled and
*fornication.
In the book of Psalms115 : 4 - 8 idols are made of sliver, gold and are works of man's hand, some are made of strong wood (oak) and some even plastics. We are to kneel down to only God Almighty as written in the book of Isaiah 44:11-17 and in 1 Peter 4:3, Romans1:25 . If you pray and kneel down not into the creator (God) but to the creatures, it is abominable to God. When food are offered to gods or in celebrations of their gods, we are not eat such food. God prohibits us to eat of a table that is offered to idols for and in the book of 1Corin. 8:7, eating of such tables can defile our conscience. Idols are false gods, a false god should not be worshiped . Saint John was stopped by the angel from worshipping him because He is like a creature like him too-Revelation 22:8-9 . We are not to worship angels and any other personality such as Mary the mother of Jesus Christ, for even Mary join the apostles to pray to God as in the book of Act 1:13-14. we aren't to worship or pray to Mary;we are to only pray to God.
The God we worship as Christians is different from that of Muslims reason being that in the book of Psalms2:7 and John 1 :18 the Lord God begat Jesus;Jesus is the only begotten son of God as said in Hebrews 1:5; but in the Quran of Sura 112:3 the god of Muslims does not begat nor did he begat anyone.
Also in Acts 15:29 we are prohibited from eating blood because in the book of Leviticus 17: 10-11, life is in the blood, it is the blood that maketh atonement for the soul and the blood is a spiritual sacred thing. In Hebrews 9:22 blood is shedded for remission and in Act 20: 28 Christ purchase the Church with His blood, so God will be angry with anyone that eat blood.
In the book of Genesis9 :3-4, for God has asked us not to eat strangled things which is referred to flesh with a life of blood in Gen. 9:4. Strangled animals are 'dead meat' ; they are animals who died of themselves, their blood was not poured out and in the book of Leviticus 17 :13 the commandment from the Lord is to pour out the blood of killed animals and cover with dust. We also learnt that as true Christians, we are prohibited from fornication, for fornication is against the Holy Spirit and it is unforgivable as in 1 Corin. 6:18- 19, our body is the temple of the Holy Spirit, so when one fornicates, such person is polluting the temple of the Holy Spirit.
Thanks for going through and God bless us all
Thanks be to God for listening on our meeting.

II CORINTHIANS 4:18
While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.
