This is what I learnt from the Zoom Bible Study.
We must learn to study and dispense the word of God with contradicting it. We must not add or subtract from the word of God.
Preachers should not lean on their own understanding when teaching the word of God because the things of the spirit are foolishness unto a carnal man.
A preacher of the word of God must also practice the word he/she preaches so that those who they preach to will also find faith and observe the word too.
Matthew 28:20
Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen.
The doctrines of God should not be taught through mere human intellect. It must be pure word of God, so that it will find effect in the life of the brethren.
Mark 7:7
Howbeit in vain do they worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men.
