The teaching of Brother Eli, which was the first Christian's call to selfless love.
In ***1 John vs 16, where Jesus' sacrifice sets the better example for believers to lay down their life for others. This perspective of donating organ as an instruction of the principle is both important and inspiring if we are willing to give our lives for our brothers and sisters in faith.
And it was explained in the story of Priscilla and Aquila in Romans 16:34. Then, sharing our kidney or another organ to enhance someone's life can also align with the commandment of God, which is to love sacrificially.
This teaching challenges the doctrine like
those of the Jehovah's Witnesses that put a bit of thought out of giving or laboring as a transgression against biblical belief, which is to prioritize love and compassion.
Brother Eli made a point about organ donation is to extend life beyond death, so to our hearts, by helping one another, by giving them life. This frames organ donation as a very important act of kindness. Which is contrary to the law of God in harmony with it.
As Christ says, we are called to always give generously, whether it is to our spouse or child or stranger. So, this perspective has invited us to reflect on how our love can extend and how we can live at Christ's example, which is life-changing in different ways.
