Everything God has created is good designed for our own benefit. From the fruit of Eden to the sources that we have today. God creation is meant to sustain and bless us all.
In Genesis 1:30 we are being declared that God saw everything he made and called it very good. The first motives for God. Also every creature of God is good and we must receive all the creations which stands giving so what is important.
The note we have to take away from this teaching is that sin doesn't stem from the creation of God but from our misuse of power. Brother Eli started give examples. It's always beneficial when you use properly.
With the forbidden fruit in Eden, it wasn't an apple but a tree of knowledge of good and evil. The sin of other wasn't just about food but disobedient to the commandment of God. So sin in 1 John 3:4 say that is the progression of God's law.
We are being reminded that to approach God's gift with gratitude and wisdom obey the instructions. Satan the enemy is trying to attempt us to misuse what is good but it's what keeps us in shape and aligned with God's perfect way.
