MCGI TOPIC REVIEW || Is Praying Enough To Get You Closer To God?

In Matthew 7:7, we are being reminded prayer is only the beginning of our journey with God.

Ask it shall be given unto you, seek and ye shall find, knock and it shall be opened unto you.

This is the call of personally waiting for divine answer from God when we believe and have faith. Prayer is what sets the foundation and aligning ourselves with the will of God.nBut it is our action when we seek opportunity, working diligently and knocking on doors that brings the promise of God to our soul.

Praying for a house cannot give you a home. So asking God for permission is not enough that we should say I do. We have to work. We must mix faith with work. God wants us to be in the source. We should seek employment, save ideas and build a life of purpose.

This aligns with the truth, the teaching that we must eat our own bread. Though in 2 Corinthians 9-12 this reflects a responsibility that we should trust in God's guidance.

We are a bit challenged to move beyond those prayers. We are asked in faith that we seek His efforts. We should knock on the persistence that God will open for us. We must seek God's opportunities and we must walk through them. Let us embrace this balance of prayer and back all this with action. Trusting that God, while working diligently, will fulfil His purpose in our life.

Stay Blessed.
