The teaching of Brother Eli is a path in mind of what should disciple really means. If you are studying the word of God, it's not just a one-time event but it's something we measure ourselves on hourly.
This is a lifelong commitment. Brother Eli has already emphasized, continuing this word of Christ is that what defines us as we disciple. So it's not enough to hear these doctrines once. We must keep learning, we must keep growing and keep applying what we have learned.
Baptism is not just the finish line, but only the beginning. So the introduction session may introduce us to foundational teachings but after we baptize we must be guided, nourished and taught, to observe all things as Christ has commanded us.
This is aligned perfectly with Matthew 28:19-20 where Jesus instructs Disciples not only to baptize but to teach believers, to observe His teachings. In the word of God there are so many confessions, temptations and so many distractions.
What we want is to get to know the gospel and to be able to understand the gospel. So there is a call to continuously remain in the Word of God, which is more important than ever. Spiritual growth is a daily journey, that Brother Eli made a commitment to make this a lifetime career is both inspiring and humbling.
May we strive to remain faithful as believers of the Word of God.
The Bible should be read everyday
I strongly believe there is not a particular time or frequency in a day that limit us on how we study our bible. We should study it daily
