MCGI Topic Review || Why did the house of prayer in Jerusalem become a den of thieves? PART 3

Still on the teachings of Brother Eli we have been told that the house of God in Jerusalem was transformed from just being a physical temple that was destroyed by General Titus to become a spiritual symbol of the church.

The house that was once called the house of prayer was now reduced to just a piece of stone. And this has fulfilled the prophecy of Christ. That not even one stone will remain.
But here the plan of God endured even after the church has been destroyed.

In 1 Timothy 3 vs 15 it says that the house of God which was the church of God and the pillar and the ground of truth. Unlike the temple, the physical temple, it was vulnerable to getting destroyed by men. But the church built by Jesus Christ can never be destroyed by any mortal man. And the gate of hell shall not prevail against it. Matthew 16 vs 18.

Even the scripture says in Ephesians 3 vs 10 that the church is for eternal purpose.
No man can destroy it. It is used to manifest the wisdom of God in heavenly places.
Hebrews 36:10-22 also confirms this.
That Christ is our highest priest. He reigns and is the head of our spiritual house. It is not built by just mere stone blocks or bricks.
But by believers who keep praying. They keep living by the truth of God.

The church is not just the house of prayer. But a church is the house that prays. A church is an eternal entity which is controlled by God's divine plan. And it can never be destroyed or shaken by worldly powers.

Stay Blessed.

Very powerful reminder. The true church is not in buildings but in Christ and the believers who live by His truth. Indeed, no man can destroy what God has established.
