It is the Ernest desire of God that we his believers not just read and obey his commandments but also live our lives according to his will. But as explained by Bro.Eli , it seems as if most people struggle at this because in as much as they try to please God , it seems as if something always pulls them back into the old life of sin.
The preacher was kind enough to tell us the secret to overcoming this , if we truly want to overcome sin , we need more than human effort , we need prayer, a determined heart , and then the power of the Holy spirit. in the book of Proverbs 16:9 , we are reminded that in as much as we plan , that only God has the ability to guide our steps.
In conclusion, we were meant to understand that only through the grace of God and his guidance can we do his will. we pray that the almighty God help us to walk in righteousness and give us the strength so that we can overcome sin.
