This gospel reminds us that t is we who drift away from Him and that God is never far from us. we were urged to reflect on how we may have turned from His ordinances.
In most cases , we feel distant from God or think He is silent to us, but this distance is as a result our own actions, attitudes, and choices.
when we stray from the part of God, it is not because He left us or forsake us, but because we went far away away from His guidance. The mercy of God remains constant, always waiting for us to return to Him.
When we come back to his teaching , we re-align ourself with his grace and protection.
God is not far from us, we are the ones who are going far from God
