MCGI TOPIC REVIEW // Dealing With Depressed Teens

in MCGI Cares Hive21 hours ago

We heard an heartfelt reminder from Brother Eli of where it's a possibility God has placed on every parent.

A child's formative years should be the foundation of their entire life. So turn up a child the way it should go. And this is not just advice, it's a divine blueprint for parenting.

Listening to Brother Eli, you can feel the weight of his experience as father, as grandfather and even great-grandfather. This speaks not from those ordinary stories but from decades of experience and witnessing.

A child who grows with discipline, love and the fear of God stands a better chance of navigating the life of inevitable frustration. But when parents neglect the study, paying with trust to them, they die in the form of heartache, grief and regret.

This message is not meant to condemn but to awaken. It reminds us that parenting is not just an overnight thing. But it's a long patience and journey of molding good character. And when we follow God's instruction, the reward is a child.

The reward we get is a child who is remaining solid in God's Word. And truly this teaching is both comforting and sobering.
