Thanks be to God almighty may the peace of our Lord Jesus abide with us all Amen.
Firstly I want to appreciate God for another opportunity to be in his presence and also another opportunity to listen to doctrine of Christ through brother Eli, today I learned more about how to pray to God because he’s not human and he’s far away from us so when we pray we should not pray repeatedly we should go straight to the point and tell God what we should want, we should not pray standing on the corners of the street like the hypocrite do, we should kneel down when we pray to God if we are in a comfortable place, God does not hear the prayers of a sinner so we must be holy and pure so that when we pray to God he hears us.
Mathew 6:7;8 here the Bible says, but when ye pray use not vain repetitions as the heathen do for they think they shall be heard by their much speaking, be not ye like unto them for your father knoweth what things ye in need of before ye ask of him, it is not necessary to to let everyone know that we are praying because is between one person and God so when we pray we should be go to our closet and talk to God, we should be like the hypocrite who stand on the streets of synagogue so they may be hear of men, prayers like that God does not answer them so we must make our prayers briefs and believe it is done.
1st Thessalonians 5:21;22 here I learned that we should should abstain from every form of evil, we should not be found doing evil we should hold fast every good thing that we are been taught so we can be able to fulfill the doctrine of Christ, it says here abstain from all appearance of evil, prove all things hold data that which is good, when you compare all then you will be able to know which is good, when you do good to others God will be pleased with you.
Mark 11:25 here the Bible says, and when ye stand praying, forgive if ye have Aught against any,that your father also which is in heaven may forgive your trespasses. We must always forgive one another so that God will also forgive our sins, before we can ask anything from God we should first of all forgive whoever has offended us we must forgive them so that our prayers will be heard by God.
2nd Peter 2:1 it says here but there were also false prophets among the people even there shall be false prophets among you who privily shall bring in damnable heresies even denying the Lord that bought them and bring themselves swift destruction, already there are false prophets and false teachers all over and that’s why we must be careful who we listen to and who we pay attention to, may God help us to understand and obey his words amen.
