Hello guys, welcome back once again and stay with me as we discuss about another wonderful topic that was given to us by brother Eli.
In today’s world, you can walk into a bookstore or search online and find countless Bible versions King James Version (KJV), New International Version (NIV), New Living Translation (NLT), and so many more.
This bible were written in different languages, the sizes and covers also differ.
Although, these bible gives Believers the connection to God , but a lot of question has also been asked , which of them is true.
The truth is, the original texts of the Bible were written in Hebrew, Aramaic, and Greek , languages most people today don’t speak or read.
A very large population of the world don't Speak this languages so in other to have a good understanding of
the Bible, it had to be translated. However, not all translations are equal. Some translators take liberties by changing the meaning of certain verses or removing and adding content, which is something the Bible itself warns against.
Deuteronomy 4:2 (KJV) says:
“Ye shall not add unto the word which I command you, neither shall ye diminish ought from it…”
This is a strong warning from God. No one is allowed to add their own opinions or remove parts of God’s Word to suit personal ideas or beliefs.
This is why many Christians trust the King James Version (KJV) of the Bible. It is one of the most faithful translations of the original texts, carefully translated word-for-word instead of thought-for-thought. While the old English may seem hard to understand at times, it stays close to the original meaning without human opinions or emotions interfering.
Some modern translations, unfortunately, are based on the translator’s personal understanding, not on strict translation from the original manuscripts. false teachings, confusion, and even disagreement among believers can arise from this.
So, is there one true Bible we can trust? Yes, there are faithful translations like the King James Version that respect God’s Word and avoid adding or removing anything. While translations help us read the Bible in our own language, we must choose carefully. A good Bible should not change God’s message.
In the end, it’s not just about the version but also about reading with sincerity, prayer, and seeking the truth. If you truly want to know God, He will guide you even through the pages of a faithful Bible.
