The disobedience to the commandment of God was actually the problem in the story of Adam , and not the apple that was eaten.
As we all know , the tree of knowledge was what God told Adam not to eat, that he may eat from other fruits. As can be seen , a lot of people believed that it was the an apple fruit but the bible never mentioned any fruit , the bible focused on the act of disobedience.
So this gospel is a kind reminder that we should the gift God gives us is good if we can learn to use them properly. Learning to obey his commands , know and respect his limits , and then use his blessing in a way that it glorifies him.
