In the part one of this topic of discussion, I learnt a great lesson. I learnt that it is because there is a force which hinders us from remembering God things and always remembering bad things that is why it is difficult for us to remember good things.
It was clear to me that why we have so much hatred, murder, revenge and all manner of evil ruling the world is because the force of evil controls human hearts. Men seem not to easily forget the bad because the evil force always brings the memory of evil to them.
Hebrews 8:12 (KJV) For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and their iniquities will I remember no more.
It was a great revelation from Bro Eli Soriano that God, Himself whose memory is wider and sharper than anyone’s else, could forget evil things and remember them no more. If God can forget evil things; if God could forgive and forget then we too can forgive and forget.
In this second part, Bro Eli Soriano is telling us that why the memory of evil lingers in our minds is because we do not walk in love. I understand why our God does not remember our sins when He forgives us. It is because He is Love.
Let us walk in love, let us follow the example of God. Let us obey His Word. When we walk in love, we will be able to forgive others easily.
