Blessed love, my brothers and sisters in the lord.
I greet you in the name of the Most High, the ever-living, ever-faithful King of Kings, who sees all and judges in righteousness.
Let me reflect on a verse from the book of Genesis
Genesis 13:13 (KJV) says:
“But the men of Sodom were wicked and sinners before the LORD exceedingly.”
Now hear this, my bredren, Sodom was not just a story of long ago. It is a warning to all communities who forget righteousness and walk in rebellion against the Most High.
The men of Sodom became so used to wickedness that they no longer saw it as wrong. They allowed sin to become their culture. Their leaders were corrupt, their people turned blind eyes to injustice, and God's law was pushed aside.
So I ask: shall we, the sons and daughters God, make the same mistake?
Look around the world today, see how the political leaders deceive the people, rob the poor, and keep the nation in chains of suffering. See how even in the small communities, men rise up with titles but have no truth in their tongues. The love of money, the hunger for position, the pride of flesh, these things are dragging souls away from righteousness.
But we must never walk that path. We must not let power or pride turn our hearts cold. We must not allow community silence when wickedness is growing. If we stay quiet when lies rule, we become part of the sin.
The scripture say the men of Sodom were sinners exceedingly, which means they knew what they were doing, and still chose darkness. Let it not be said of us that we saw wrong and did nothing. Let it not be said that we talked righteousness but lived in hypocrisy.
So this is a call:
Let us check ourselves.
Let us rise in righteousness.
Let the young ones see example in the elders.
Let our gates be known as a place where Gods truth dwells, where no corrupt leader or wicked elder will feel comfortable, and where silence in the face of injustice has no place.
Because like Sodom, judgment always comes when wickedness grows unchecked. But God is merciful. If we turn now, if we speak now, if we live upright now, then surely he will cover us, protect our community, and bless the work of our hands.
So I say again to us all (brothers and disters)
Let us not be like Sodom.
Let us walk in truth, and live in harmony with God's law.
Righteousness exalteth a nation, but sin is a reproach to any people.
Let that be our meditation.
