Talking about many gods that people follow, really opened my eyes. This should diverge on something confusing. It is just what can be, somehow.
He explains something we majorly overlook as Christians. Yes, there is only one true God, but in reality, people follow many different gods because of their ignorance, tradition and teaching, passed down through generations.
What struck me the most is how he used the Bible to show that this is not a new problem.
It has been happening since the ancient times. Egypt, Rome and the Empire, people saw gods that were creature-caused, no gods by nature.
That verse in Galatians 4, it really hits home.
It shows that when people do not know who the true God is, they naturally fall into that idea of false gods, idols or ideas. They look spiritual, but have no divine power.
Brother Eli points are that it is simple and powerful that God is one. The doctrine is one. The confession we see today is from God. It is not from human beings. It is not from God. It is from human beings creating their own beliefs, their own doctrine, their own kind of tradition and sometimes their own Gods in order to deviate from the real teaching of Christ.
This reminds us that how important it is
to search for the true God, this is the second fairness. Compare it with scriptures.
