Is religion needed for Salvation? (MCGI Topic Review)

There are certain things that we should not be nonchalant about in our Christian faith. Lack of certain information can be detrimental to people. Having the right spiritual knowledge is very important to the life of the believer. Salvation is the greatest gift that Christ brought to the earth. This was the primary reason why Christ left his heavenly abode into this world.

Ephesians 2:8 - For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:
9 - Not of works, lest any man should boast.

The salvation recorded here is the believers eternal salvation. The scripture above clearly reveals that our salvation is by grace through faith and has nothing to do with works. We are not saved by what we have done or by what we can do. Salvation is purely by grace through faith. Whatever we have done, and whatever we shall do can not affect our salvation. Salvation is absolutely a matter of God's grace through our faith in Christ Jesus.

Acts.4.12 - Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.

This is a proof to us that salvation is very and it can only be achieved through Christ Jesus. No name on earth or beyond is greater than that of Jesus and can bring salvation unto man. The matter of salvation should be of great concern to us.
