Death could sometimes mean salvation, according to the Bible. On the contrary, death is not something which is evil.
Most people perceive death to be that something evil. Death does not mean evil to those who serve God.
Isaiah 57:1
The righteous perisheth and no man laid it to heart and merciful men are taken away, none considering that the righteous is taken away from the evil to come.
Even the most righteous of men who have ever lived on earth have died. Even our Lord Jesus Christ, the most perfect who ever lived on earth, also died. Death is a way of God to take us from the evil to come. Something evil that is coming, which one cannot bear. It is God that allows us to live. Our death proves the existence of God. It must not be otherwise. God is just showing us how powerful He is and how low we are. And how must we subject ourselves under His power.
Deuteronomy 32:39
See now that I, even I am He, and there is no god with me: I kill, and I make alive, I wound and I heal: Neither is there any that can deliver out of my hand.
Nobody can deliver anyone from God's hand. His will will be done in whatever situation we may be. The fulfillment of God must surely come to pass. Death is something inevitable. But it teaches us so many good things. It teaches us to be prepared because we do not know when we will die. It teaches us to be holy.
It teaches us to practice self-control.
And it teaches us to love one another as long as we live because we might be short of time.
