We live in a world full of tribulations. Tribulation can come to both the righteous and the wicked. It can come to anyone. There is no special people that tribulation can come to. It can come to the people of God, too.
In John 16:33, it says, These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace in the world. Ye shall have tribulation, but be of good cheer, and overcome the world.
Jesus Christ is telling himself that we might overcome tribulations as children of Christ. The world is full of injustice, corruption, and so many good things, but we will not have to skip through. The world is a very good place, but it can be turned into a miserable place because of the disobedience of God.
Sometimes in the past, the earth can be a very important place for us to live. So many people are dying of hunger. People have lost their jobs. People have lost resources and everything. So only few are really enjoying life, which is not free tribulation. God has assured us that we are part of those that also enjoy life as children of God.
God has given us what we need here on earth, even though it might be free tribulation. God wants to tell you that civilization should be over.
