Is Holy Week Biblical || MCGI TOPIC REVIEW

The teaching of Brother Eli about the timeline of Christ's death and his resurrection, this can be very eye-opening and very thought-provoking. So many Christians today, we just grew up in a traditional Friday to Sunday way.

We start questioning what this belief is all about. But when we take note as a believer too, to carefully study scripture, then we can see the truth being revealed to us. In Matthew 12:14 and Matthew 28:1, it becomes clear that three days and three nights cannot just fit that barrier. So the idea of two Sabbaths during that week, maybe one being yearly Sabbath of Passover and the other regular week's weekly Sabbath, shows us a completely different understanding.

This also explains why women have to wait before bringing others their spirit. It also explains why the tomb was already empty at the end of the Sabbath, so before the dawn of the first day of the week. When you take note of the Saturday timeline, it makes it a good way to align this biblical account and it is consistent to the word of God.

Without forcing the text to tradition, or to change it later, it also exposes how superstition and man-made ritualism, like prohibition, or beating, or laughing on Good Friday, all those things are not found in this scripture.

So overall, we are being taught to be careful of what we listen and obey and believe, and must examine the Bible properly in order to get the right teaching of Christ.
