Brother Eli is passionate about man being created in the image and likeness of God. This gives a refreshing and deep Biblical perspective that coerces many to understand it.
Many people assume that image means that physical resemblance, as if God has been my future body. Brother Eli has clearly pointed out that the Bible teaches that God is a spirit. A spirit does not have to have flesh and bone, so the likeness cannot be physical.
Brother Eli shows us the Scripture to understand spiritual likeness. In Psalm 17:15, this likeness is connected with the righteousness of God. This is further confirmed in Ecclesiastes 7:21, which says, God makes the way of man upright.
When Ecclesiastes 1:21 shows everything God created, which was very good, it supports the idea that Adam was created holy, righteous and spiritual. This teaching may define the Ritual. The true image of God in man is moral and spiritual.
Adam would now reflect God's true holiness, spiritual and uprightness. The mighty fall of Cain, not because God's creation was imperfect, but because he was able to sort out many inversions, meaning he chose disobedience over the righteous way of doing things.
This explanation is trying to reveal to us the image of God. It meant, which was created to mirror his righteousness and holiness. This also reminded us, truth-wise, this lost image can be restored. The teaching is not just about biblical, but meaningful understanding of proper and according to design.
God has created us just like him so we must imitate living a holy life of God
