MCGI TOPIC REVIEW: The Purpose Of Our Existence

Brother Eli explained to us about why suffering brings a deep sense of clarity to a Christian.

If God is loving, why do we suffer? According to him, the problem is not because God does not love us, but because of humanity's sake and the choice to disobey.

This takes us back to the story of Adam and Eve, showing how God created the world to be perfect. No sickness, no pain, we should all enjoy, but everything man needed, health, food and safety were all provided, but because of the disobedience of humans.

Brother Eli explained that death only entered the world because of sin, and suffering is the natural consequence of going against God's commandments. The way the universe operates, and on justice and balance, where the sun and the planet pull each other in quality, so in my life, it all depends on justice.

Whenever we break that balance, through sin or selfishness or something that goes on, what struck me the most is the idea that even our DNA, the very good structure of our being has been affected. This means that suffering is not a sin.

It is not a bad thing. It is the result of a spiritual and moral imbalance that has been happening for a long time. Brother Eli teaching us to remind us that God does not design us for pain. We have brought it upon ourselves, and the only way to restore it back is through obedience to God, the one and only Father.
