In 2 Timothy 1 vs 27, in the way that we move without confusion, especially around the word, conversation in James, many today understand it is merely just speech.
Christianity is not only about what it is saying, but it is how we live our life. The emphasis on the Gospel, the teaching of the Lord, which comes from Jesus Christ, is also an important one.
We have been reminded that our standard of life is the same. There is no longer that law of Moses. But it is the commandment that Christ has given us. In Luke 16 vs 16, Mark 1 shows us the focus shifted from law and the prophets to that preaching of the good news which comes from the children.
This makes it a bit challenging. Challenging the children, does that mean how their habits and choices have affected their lifestyle as believers?
So, are we living that way?
A life that reflects what we profess?
Are we standing on the truth and the law of God? It is the calling of every Christian to the obedience to the will of God. This is just a timely and biblical reminder.
