Today's teaching as always was insightful..

Bro Eli explains that confession is not unto man but unto God, with reference to Psalms32:5

if you sin against your brother, it is ideal you confess to your brother, let him forgive you and pray for you..

1john 5:16
if any man see his brother sin a sin which is not unto death he shall ask, and he shall give him Life, for them that sin unto death..

James5:16 taught us through brother Eli, that confessing our sins one to another and forgiving will bring about the effectiveness of our payers for one another as it comes from a foundation of truth and righteousness.

we were made to understand further the necessity of Prayers..
taking a look at some Bible characters; Elijah, a man of like passion as we are, yet prayed that it should not rain and it did not..
"James 5:17
Elijah was a man of like passions with us, and he prayed fervently that it might not rain; and it rained not on the earth for three years and six months".

Daniel, a man in a land of strange gods, whose faith was being tried, yet refused to be intimidated into prayerlessness( he prayed).. and God honored his prayers.

Bro Eli also talked about direction in prayers.. when you receive direction from the word of God on how to pray, you shouldn't be discriminated nor criticized (1cor1:10)
it is ideal to pray with direction based from the word of God (Bible).
anything outside scriptural bases is not of God and should not be followed nor implemented.

Thank you for the word today..
God bless MCGI Hive Community..
God bless Brother Eli..

Thank you for sharing the insightful teaching of Bro Eli.

Confession is for God's forgiveness while praying for one another strengthens our faith. It's essential to pray with direction from the Bible, and anything outside of it is not from God.

It is good if we can add more insight like a minimum of 400 words - 500 words to make our post informative.

May God bless you sister @ehnkay

Oh sure sir!
