My fellow Christians in the Lord Jesus Christ, I greet you all. I hope you are all doing well by his grace. This is what I learnt from today's studies.
Every repented soul have to be baptized so that he can receive the Holy Spirit.
Acts 2:38
And Peter said to them, repent and be baptized everyone of you in the name of the of Jesus Christ for forgiveness of your sins and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.
Mathew 28:19
Go therefore and make disciples of all nation's, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the son and of the Holy Spirit.
We all have to be baptized in one spirit, whether Jews or Greeks, slaves.
ICorintians 12:13
For in one spirit we were all baptized into one body_ Jews or Greeks, slaves or free and all were made to drink of one spirit.
The Lord Jesus is the head of the body, and the body is the Church.
Colossians 1:18
He is the head of the body, the Church. He is the beginning, the first born from the head, that in everything he might be preeminent.
There is only one Lord, one faith and only one baptism.
Ephesians 4:4 - 5
There is one body and one spirit - just as you were called to the one hope that belongs to your call. 5.one Lord, one faith, one baptism.
We should be aware of false prophets. Some came to use the name of our Lord in vein.
Exadus 20:7
Thou shalt not take the name of the Lord in vain, for the Lord will not hold him guiltless who takes his name in vain.
Psalm 139:20
They speak against you with malicious intend; your enemies take your name in vain.
Becareful, so that no one received you
Mathew 24:4-5
Jesus answered them, see that no one leads you astray. 5 For many will come in my name, saying, I am the Christ, and they will lead many astray.
