Zoom Mass Indoctrination day 13

Summary of what I learnt:

There are two types of sin: sin that leads to death and sin that does not lead to death.

Sinning against your brother is a sin that does not lead to death because your brother has the ability to forgive you.

If a person is committing sin to the point of death, we should no longer pray for him; instead, we should dismiss him from the home of faith so that others are not soiled and evil.

Churches that aren't of God accept persons who do bad things and cause others to do bad things.

1 John 5:16
16 If any man see his brother sin a sin which is not unto death, he shall ask, and he shall give him life for them that sin not unto death. There is a sin unto death: I do not say that he shall pray for it.

Romans 1:32
32 Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them.

A pastor who excommunicates evil persons from the church should not partake in the behaviors for which his excommunicated member was excommunicated.

Romans 2:20-24
20 An instructor of the foolish, a teacher of babes, which hast the form of knowledge and of the truth in the law.
21 Thou therefore which teachest another, teachest thou not thyself? thou that preachest a man should not steal, dost thou steal?
22 Thou that sayest a man should not commit adultery, dost thou commit adultery? thou that abhorrest idols, dost thou commit sacrilege?
23 Thou that makest thy boast of the law, through breaking the law dishonourest thou God?

As christians, it is important that we should keep alert so that we don't fall into sin easily, especially the sin against the Holy Spirit, which is an unforgivable sin.

The sin of fornication is the only sin which we commit against our bodies, we should desist from it because our bodies is the temple of God and God can't dwell in a defiled temple.

Eating meat offered to idols is indirectly service to other gods, we shouldn't eat foods offered to idols, even if we are about to die of hunger.

Finally, Evil communication corrupts good manners, therefore, it is pertinent to expel anyone that is rebellious in the house of God do that others are not influnced.

How this message helps us to become better:

  1. It helps us to be able to control ourselves from the spirit of fornication.

  2. It helps us to keep in check our spiritual lives by not eating food sacrificed to idols, thereby not polluting ourselves.

  3. It helps us to be conscious of the sins against the Holy Spirit and to abstain from them.

  4. It helps us to retain our salvation, so that we can also remain in the church of God.

  5. It helps us to understand that no one is above the doctrines of God whether the person is a pastor or not.

  6. It helps us to abstain from eating food containing blood.

  7. It helps us to know that the churches that accept and retain rebellious people is not of God.
We are inviting you to join the MCGI Cares (Hive) community that study the words of God and also earn some reward by making our reactions on it. We can check this link https://peakd.com/c/hive-182074/trending

Hello brethren, it is good if we can answer these 3 simple questions when doing our hive post.

What are the important points we have learned from the words of God discussed in the Zoom meeting?

What are our former beliefs or expectation that was improved for listening at the Zoom meeting?

How does the study affect us that can make us a better person that we can use in our daily lives?

God bless us brethren

Ok, brother
