The bible tells us in the book of Jeremiah 6 vs 16 that we need to return back to the old Path in which our fathers of faith walked in time past.
God set this path for us to walk in right in the time of creation. It's unfortunate that today a lot of people have sought after new inventions instead of going by that old Path that God instructed that we walk by. Our duty as christians is to observe all that there is to be observed in the Word of God.
Today, we see a lot of religions that are too many to mention g scattered across the earth. We also see pastors that claim to be in the christian faith preaching doctrines that are not really in accordance to God's Word. Instead of preaching the Word of God that they ought to do, they tend to preach what suits them.
A pastor is meant to lead the congregation to the right path because they are his flock. A shepherd would never misplace any if sheep because they are constantly led to the right path. How we know that we are walking in the right path is when we are walking in the path of righteousness
The right path according to the bible is the way of the Lord.
