Family is one of the most beautiful things we can ever have. Family is all about love and support between the members. A family is certain to thrive when there is peace and unity in their midst. When a family rest on the solely on the word of God as its foundation it is certain of being intact. Families where the fear of God does not exist among them are at risk of division.
Joshua made a bold statement in the book of Joshua 24:15, talking about how he had decided that he and his household would live the rest of their lives in service to God. The best way to keep the family intact is when they live their lives in Godliness and obedient to God's Word.
Talking about the Word of God, here's another statement that Joshua also made in the eighth verse of the first chapter of Joshua:
Joshua 1:8 KJV
This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.
This is how powerful the Word of God is. We should not meditate on the Word of God alone but it should be a collective exercise whereby members of our families do the same. While a family is bonded biologically it should also be bonded spiritually
