We could be going through some difficult phases in our lives. But as difficult as it may seem to believe, we may be going through them for a reason. One thing we know about God is that he assures us that He will never let anything that is beyond our capability to befall us.
Romans 8:18 - For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.
If God could open our eyes to the enjoyment that awaits us after this earth we'll agree that the present tribulations we are facing cannot even be compared to it. One of the ways our faith is put to test is done when times like this arise. This world and everything in it is temporary. What is more important is the one that waits for us after this earth, because that one is permanent.
If such times do not arise a lot of people may not know what is like to be able to cultivate patience, and patience is one of the fruits of spirit. Patience helps to shape us and plays an important role in our christian maturity. Our ability to wait on God despite the present situation shows just how much faith and patience we have in God.
