Forgive and Forget – What Does the Bible Say? (Part 2 of 2)|| THE OLD PATH

in MCGI Cares Hive3 days ago

Greetings brethren, it’s another blessed day to reflect on God’s word.

In this part of his teaching, Bro. Eli , We were reminded that as Christians, the ability to forgive those who offend us is what we should be known for. If we consider ourselves to be True followers of Christ, then we should not hold grudges or develop hatred from one another in our hearts.

Forgiving one another , not holding grudges, living with peace and love are some of the virtues that the bible teaches us.

when you hold grudges or give in to anger , you risk falling into a deeper sin. This is because both hatred and anger can lead you to going against The will of God.

As Christians , we should learn to choose forgiveness over hatred, then replace anger with love. If love exist, peace will also exist, the same with unity and forgiveness. Let us allow the Love of God to guide our actions each day.

That’s true. If God can forgive us, we should learn to forgive those who offend us as well

It may be difficult but God expects us to forgive everyone who trespasses against us
