Depression And Anxiety - How To Overcome Theses Biblically (Part I Of 3)// The Old Path.

in MCGI Cares Hive22 days ago

Greetings everyone, I welcome you all to my blog. It's another wonderful day to listen to the teachings of our Lord Jesus Christ by his humble servant Bro Eli Soriano. God bless his words.

The hardships, suffering and temptations we face today do not define our destiny.
The book of Luke 16:20-22 reminds us of the story of a beggar named Lazarus in the bible. He faced so many struggles, problems and temptations, but yet he never complained. He accepted his fate and was faithful to God knowing that his present condition does not define his destiny. He remained faithful and obedient to God until death, and that was why he was carried to Abraham's bosom; a place of eternal peace.

This story teaches us always to have faith in God no matter any situation we find ourselves. The book of Phillipians 4:6-7 reminds us not to have any anxiety over anything, but by prayer and supplication we should made know our petitions to God.

As believers, what we need to overcome depression and anxiety is faith. Our story does not end here on earth. Bro Eli in his teaching reminds us that if we are worried about death, then depression will come. All man is destined to die one day, not matter the prestige added to our names, everyone will die both the rich and poor. Therefore let us put all our faith and trust in God because he is the only one that can grant us eternal life.

God bless you all 🙏
