Donating organs to save someone's life is not a sin. It is our obligation to save the lives of our brethren, God is not against us giving us giving a part of us to save someone, infact the bible ask us to give.
This bible verse reveals the true meaning of christain love, a love that's sacrificial, selfless and willing to give for good of our brethren. If Jesus Christ can lay down his life for us on the cross, then we his followers should be ready to give something of ourselves including our resources, time and even parts of our body as long as it help to prolong another person's life.
Any doctrine that prohibits donating of organs to our brethren is a stupid doctrine according to Bro Eli, because we are commanded by God to laid down our lives for the sake of our brethren. Not only did God command us to do so, he showed example by sending his only son to die for our sins on the cross of Calvary, no earthly parents can release any of his or her child to be killed not to talk of only child but God did that for us.
Therefore as the followers of God, we should always help our brethren in any way we can to see that their lives is prolonged. We should be ready to give something of ourselves to our brethren, by doing so with love God will bless us all Amen.
