There first and foremost duty of any security agencies, be it a vigilante, a police man, or any force in any nation, you duty is to safeguard the lives of the citizens, you are equipped with gun and other things to combat criminals who carry guns, it you duty to protect others lives and to safeguard yourself also.
Looking at the scripture, self defense is not a sin that some might say it is, it is well written in the bible that it is not a sin.
There are some people who have killed someone accidentally during self defence in the past. As a Christian, we do not just kill.
There are some places in on the body to target instead of targeting the man's chest.
If we must do something aside killing, let us do it and let his decide the fate of those people.
