It is not easy to forget those who hurt us, but if we have the fear of God in our mind, we will definitely find a place in our heart for forgive. Forgiveness is not a sin but an assurance that we are obeying the instructions from God. God has made it known that we should always forget and move on and for his blessings to be upon us, because if you find it hard to forgive, then it will be hard to receive God's blessings and progress.
And as humans, God as also made it known to us that no matter how grievous our sins are when we call upon God, he is ready and he will surely forgive our sins. So far that you call upon his name for forgiveness, he will neither condem you or say no to you because God is not a liar, he always stand firm on his words and we are his product of his creation. He is not a wicked God.
So as sinners or as Christians who is backsliding or maybe you have done terrible things, call upon God for forgiveness today and he will surely forgive you. Do not say that your sin is much, no, when you call upon God, he will surely wash away those sins.
