God does not just judge us after birth, the judgment is opened until our ministry hear is done. After our birthday, there is always a possibility that we are going to heaven if only we do the will of God. But late in life, we transgress the law like what Solomon did but God does not judge is immediately after birth.
Deuteronomy 30:19 I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live.
We usually have the gift of freewill after our birth, our free will that we use to do the will of God, or our free will that we can use to the will of ourselves.
God has set before us life and death, blessings and cursing and the free will be gave us is to chose which one we like. It depends on our choice. If we want to make heaven, it depends on us, our obedience in following God's will.
God is watching us untill the end of our life and that is why we need to be careful of the things we do so as not to offend God but to be holy, to be saved by God and follow him diligently.
Hebrews 10:38 Now the just shall live by faith: but if any man draw back, my soul shall have no pleasure in him.
So as a Christian, you should continue to abide by the instructions of God, we should be committed to his will and we should remain steadfast so that we will not be a castaway.
