From the scripture In Jeremiah 6:16, Brother Eli is urging us to seek that old path that is where the good way lies.
So this path has been known to be ordained by God since creation. This is not just a modern invention but this is the way of the Lord. We have been commanded to his teachings and ordinances.
In a world filled with so many religions, it's led by pastors that are running the gospel their own way for their personal gain. We have been called to stand and ask for the good path, the true path so that we can be free from these greedy dogs known as fake pastors around the world.
The Bible is telling us to not to chase prophets, leaving the souls that need salvation worthless. As Ecclesiastes 5:10 warns us that that who loves evil is never satisfied. So that good part of and dating them is the way of righteousness.
We have been prepared by God to be his workmanship, to work in good works. In Hosea 14:19, we are being assured that the Lord's way are always right and only the just will walk in them.
Why do they transgress before? So to this part we must share the vices, don't commit fornication or deceit, and we must embrace God's truth. He really is trying to tell us that we must investigate, we must understand the spirit of discernment and we must follow the way of the Lord in order to rest our souls.
Let us heed to this call. Let us reject all those mammy religions and walk in the good paths which has been undone by true peace.

The right path is the path which God has set
The true path is God's word. We must hold on to God's word like our life depend on it.
